In the motion of a simple pendulum(SHM), The component of mg, that means mgsin@ is the force that restores or tends the bob to the mean position(Equilibrium). But I dont understand y it is written as negative. That means, I found in my NCERT Text that F= -mgsin@. And please explain detaily the expression for torque.???
