λ=c/ν where λ=wavelength, c=speed of light, and ν=frequency of wave..........so my que is what is the physical effect of c is here and why c is present here????????????

Frequency is the no. of nodes and antinodes that appear per second. wavelength is the length of single period of a wave.

so, speed is the no. of cyclesxthe length as v=st.
