Dear shashank,

The book i would suggest is "H.C Verma".It is fantastic book in terms of conceptual understanding and also in terms of problems practise.'Resnick&halliday" is also a better book,no doubt, but it more diversified in terms of explanation.

If you read each and every topic of HC VERMA carefully and solve each and every problem given in the PROBLEMS part, i am pretty sure you will be able to solve the IIT JEE questions.

GOOD LUCK,

yes the concepts are gud,but the basic problem is that wwhen you are going for iit jee , this book is not that helpful cause you are not supposed to write the concepts iit jee is about application of concept.so kindly mark my words otherwise you know iit is not that easy

regards,

prick
