Below you see table 4-1 listing the terminal speed and the distance through which the body must fall from rest to reach of its terminal speed.

It is important to note that the table list the distance corresponding to 95% distance but not 100 % . To account for the same one must consider the vertical velocity of the object of mass m at time t , and falling in presence of air resistance,
