When we are travelling in a train why do objects nearer to us appear to move at a higher velocity??

Objects far away seem to travel at a much lower velocity............the world outside appears like a disk, with the places far apart as the centre and hence objects near us seem to move as at higher velocity because of their large radius(v=r.w).....may be the curvature of the earth is responsible....

BECAUSE AS THE PERPENDICULAR DISTANCE INCREASES DUE TO THE PERSISTANCE OF VISION.
