The scale will show reading as 100N.
Let me explain,you must be knowing that if a spring balance is attached between two strings then the spring balance shows the tension in the string (when the spring would be replaced by a string).So in this case when we replace the spring balance by string the tension will be 100 N as it can be easily calculated as both the bodies are at rest and Newton’s second law of motion can be applied to get tension as 100N
So the spring will read as 100 N
