There is just one approach.
  • Read problem carefully.
  • Write down provided data.
  • Draw a Free Body Diagram (Big and Neat)(If possible, with different colours).
  • Draw all the forces (with arrows).
  • Don’t miss the contact forces that exists between the bodies.
  • Make motions equations and solve.
