What is pure rotational point? If an object performs rolling motion then, is centre of mass pure rotation point?

If a rigid body is in pure rotation that means translation part is zero

That means COM is not undergoing motion in x or y direction.

That means COM will be fixed. And body will be rotating abt COM

@NishantVohra if the body performs both translation and rotation motion (body isn`t hinged), then can we say that the COM is the pure rotation point?
