the phenomenon of raising the outer edge of the curved road above the inner edge is to provide the nessasary centripetal force to the veichle to take a safer turn in the curved road is called as the banking of road .
this concept is important as if banking will not be their , then there is a chance of skidding of the veichle from the path and it will lead to the serious accident after that .
the equation will be
tan theta = v square / Rg
