To measure or identify or study different physical quantities we takr a certain and easy quantity as a standard, called "Unit" of given physical quantity.
Unit is marks of identification of different physical quantities with the help of which we can measeure or study different physical quantity.
Eg- Unit of Mass=kg(kilogram)
Unit of length=m(Meter)
