We expect a truly general relation, to be valid regardless of the choice of coordinate system. By demanding that general equations be dimensionally Consistent we ensure that the Equations are valid regardless of the choice of units. Is there any need then for units or coordinate system?

The Internationalย Systemย of units is veryย importantย because it helps the whole world understand the measurements in only one set of units and not to transform every single one of them to the one you use to see its worth against the thing you're comparing
