Therefore, Net work =W2-W1(friction does negative work)
=(m2-m1u)gl 
Now according to W-E Theorem,
 1/2(m1+m2)v^2=(m2-um1)gl
Therefore v=√2(m2-um1)gl/√(m1+m2).
