Since the distance travelled in the last second of upward journey = distance travelled in first second of downward journey(the height-time graph is symetric about the highest point)
For 1st ball
s = ut + ½ at2
= 0 + 0.5 * 9.8 * 1
=4.9m
For 2nd ball
S = 0 + 0.5* 9.8*1
= 4.9 m
Hence ratio = 1
