Calculate the tension in the cable.


Write the equilibrium equation of the whole system.

Total mass is 6+3+1=10 
Force f = final - initial
                 3g - g = 2 g
Acceleration a= F/ m
                       a=2g/10
                       a= 2×10/10
                        a= 2 m/s^2
