the answer is A 2m/s2
the question is preety simple just assume m1 & m2 as one block with mass 6Kg
now total force causing accelaratio=(6-4) X g =2g
aceleration =f/m
=2g/(4+2+4)
=2 m/s2

Consider m2 and m1 combined so the mass formed is 6 Kg 
 
Now using formula 
a=(m1-m2)g
      m1 +m2 
 
a= (6-4)10
       6+4
a=2m/s2
