see in this case T = r*F, here you’ve to do the cross product (not dot product)
as torque = r*F solve it by using forming matrix or just by right hand screw rule
F = 8i + 6j + 0k and r = 3i + 4j
on solving it you will finally get 
torque = -14 k Nm

in this type of question just apply formula torque is equal to cross product that is r cross f vector
