R(max)= v^2/g So v^2= R( max) *g
Here R is in km so change it in meter, and g is given as 10m/s^2
By putting the value in this formula u can get the muzzle velocity.
Answer- 400m/s

The maximum range is only possible when the bullet is fired at an angle of 45° . So by applying the formula of range we get the answer as 400m/s
