Let the maximum displacement of block is h
Extension in spring2=x
Exrension in spring1=y
Now for a moment suppose there is only spring2
Then, when block is released then by work energy theorem
1/2kx²=mgx
x=2mg/k........(i)
Similarly we can find out y which will be 2x...... (force=2T)
Now by work energy theorem for whole system
½kx²+½ky²=mgh
½kx²+½k(4x²)=mgh
Putting x=2mg/k
h=10mg/k
Thus X=2
