Using the young laplace equation for excess pressure i.e.
(excess pressure) ΔP = T(1/R1 + 1/R2) where R1 and R2 are the maximum and minimum radius of curvature of any surface.
Therefore for a cylindrical drop R1 is R i.e. the radius of the cylinder and R2 is infinity for cylinder (which is for the straight part of the cylinder). So substituing the value in the above equation we get

ΔP = T/R.
