sign conventions in vehicles travellin in opposite direction.should we consider right and north direction as positive direction. why?

That doesn’t matters actually but if it has been said already and assumed then we should follow these sign conventions.

Assuming it as negative wouldn’t change the answer but U would have to strictly mntioned in the asnwer that U have assumed those conevntions as by your choice.
