Q2.A man runs a race along a straight line starting with velocity v0,The direction of air appears to him to make an angle α with his course. It then appears to veer round uniformly from the initial angle to 2α during the race. If the air blows uniformly throughout at right angle to the course and if t be the time of the race, find the length of the course.

Distance of the course = V0.t Sqroot(1+cos22x)
where x=alpha 
this problem can easily be solved by using a little projectile motion solving techniques.
