To prove:-(u/g)+√{(u/g)^2+(2h/g)}

Since, the balloon is ascending upwards so when we drop the package it's velocity will be negative of that of balloon's velocity.

We know,
S=ut+1/2(at^2)
So,    h= -ut + (gt^2)/2
       By solving, we get-
gt^2-2ut-2h=0
By sri dharacharya's method,
       t={2u+-√(4u^2+8gh)}/2g
By simplifying, we get
       t={u+√(u^2+2gh)}/g
       t=u/g + √{(u^2/g^2) + 2gh/g^2}
Hence,
       t=u/g + √{(u/g)^2+2h/g}.
