Dear student,
Let us assume that the body is given an initial velocity u.
Hence the velocity at any point upwards would be given by:
v=u-gt
Hence, at the highest point, we have:
v=0\Rightarrow u=gt.
Thus, if we drop the body from the same height, at the lowest point, it would achieve the same velocity.
