Dear Mukesh
First we find out that how maximum it can go
v² = u² - 2gh
0 = 6400 - 2 * 10 * h
h = 320 m
Now time taken
v = u - gt
0 = 80- 10t
t = 8 sec
Now
If h = 300 m
Then
300 = 80t - 1/2 * 10*t²
t² - 16 t + 60 = 0
t = 10 or 6 sec
Hence 6 sec is correct.
