Look, velocity of efflux is at the point where water ejects.
So at 3, velocity = root(2gh). now using A1v1=A2v2, between 2 and 3 we get Av/2=Aroot(2gh)/4 → v = root(gh/2). Directly choose 3 if you’re in an exam, at this point.
Using bernoulli’s equation b/w the top of the liquid and point 2. we get P0 + pgh = P + (1/2)pv2. where p is the density of the liquid. You can proceed from here on I hope.
