I am here to answer your question....Here as the block is moving with 2m/s even the stick attached to it must move with it in the same velocity There velocity of the stick ‘u’ = 2m/s Then the contact angle made by the stick with the block is 60 degrees There velocity of the B end of the stick isVELOCITY(of your component) = u sin(theta)                                                         = 2 sin (60 degrees) = 2×(root(3)/2) = root (3)m/s = 1.7m/s
