Here as the block is moving with 2m/s even the stick attached to it must move with it in the same velocityย 
There velocity of the stick โ€˜uโ€™ = 2m/sย 
Then the contact angle made by the stick with the block is 60 degreesย 
There velocity of the B end of the stick is
VELOCITY(of your component) = u sin(theta)ย 
ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  = 2 sin (60 degrees) = 2ร—(root(3)/2) = root (3)m/s = 1.7m/s
