speed of train=v
length of coach=l
speed of boy relative to train is =(10-v)km/hr
in 1st case, the boy takes time to cover the train is=(30/1000)hr=0.003hr
then,(10-v)*0.003=l...........
thus for 2nd case, relative speed is=(10+v)km/hr
time taken=(20/10000)hr=0.002hr
then,(10+v)*0.002=l...........
solving 1 & 2
v=2 km/hr
l=24 m
