Approved Tutor Answer9 Years agoBy drawing FBD of block B you will get T=mg and by FBD of block A you will get kx=T+2mg hence kx=3mg. Now after cuuting string no tension force will be there only spring force will act so for block A it will become 2mg--kx=2ma and from there putting value of kx you will get a=g/2 in upward direction. And the acceleration of block B will become g
