From the differential form of the Newton's second law of motion
m (dv/dt) = F(x)
m (dx/dt) (dv/dx) = F(x)
mv dv/dx = tan A x - Fo
m vdv = tan A xdx - Fo dx
On integrating
mv²/2 = tanA x²/2 - Fo x
Now
tanA x²/2 - Fo x = 0
Hence
x = 2Fo/tan A
Option 1 is correct
