Let us assume a particle is projected with velocity v at some angle, in addition to the gravity it is subjected to a non zero horizontal acceleration, Please show what will be the plot of the projectile motion i.e. graph of y vs x

The path of the particle will be

$(gx-ay)^2=2(u_yx-u_xy)(au_y-gu_x)$

It’s the general equation of a curve in 2D plane and can be drawn only in special case.

Two special cases are:
1) a = 0, Parabolic path
2) $au_y=gu_x$ , Straight line path

Three identical balls are placed on a frictionless horizontal surface touching each other. They stick to each other because of adhesive. Another ball of same radius and mass m is placed over the void created by the three balls. Find the forces applied by the balls kept on the floor to each other if the system remains in equilibrium.
