Let m1=1kg,m2=2kg and m3= 3kg. Find the accelerations of m1, m2 and m3. The string from the upper pulley to m1 is 20cm when the system is released from rest. How long will it take before m1 strikes the pulley? HC Verma part1 page number 81 and question number 28

Dear student,

In the given question assume Tension in one wire as a variable obtain the tension in the remaining wire in terms of it.
Also assume the acceleration of each block and express it in terms of each other.
After which write the force balancing equation for each block.
Using the obtained acceleration and the equation of motion for constant acceleration we get, t = 0.25 s

Thanks and regards,
Kushagra
