Is angular moment conserved with respect to a spining disc if it loses mass?

Approved Tutor Answer8 Years agoIf it loses mass uniformly, that is if centre of mass still passes through geometric centre, then the net torque about axis passing through c.o.m. will be zero and hence angular momentum will be conserved.
