In the figure, the block A is having a velocity of 4m/s. There is no relation between the lower block and friction. The string makes an angle 37° with the horizontal. Thus the velocity of the Block B will be breakdown into its components i.e. sine component and cosine component. The cosine component will act along horizontal direction. Therefor the horizontal velocity of the block will be v(horizontal) = v cos37° = 4 x 0.765 = 3.06 ~ 3m/s
