Here since the blocks are not moving with respect to the mass M1 then we can consider in the reference frame of M1 that is a non inertial frame of acceleration a and where acceleration is force divided by total mass and that force we have to calculate then you can consider mass and 3 and M2 in non inertial frame and write the equation respectively in non inertial frame the without knowing so tension will balance the total force on them and equation the acceleration of frame with force divided by total masswe get the abs            if you are not satisfied tell me how to upload image here   so that I can give you a better view
