F2sin(theta)+F1sin(30)=200
Or,F2sin(theta)+100sin(30)=200
Or,F2sin(theta)+50=200
Or,F2sin(theta)=150
As the resultant has no horizontal component,so
F2cos(theta)=F1cos30=(100×root3)/2=50root3.
Divide the two equations.
tan(theta)=150/(50root3)=3/root3=root3
So theta=60.
Use the equation
F2sin(theta)=150
Or,F2sin(60)=150
Or,F2=300/root3=100root3.
