The options dont seem to be properly made

Acceleration can both be increasing or decreasing

2. It's acceleration may be decreasing...this is the correct answer. It's the acceleration can decrease because velocity is a vector quantity and it can be negative or positive...and acceleration is realated to velocity - a= rate of change of velocity
I hope it clear now...the correct answer is option 2 , it's 100000% correct

According to Newton's second law,
