If a man is moving with a speed of 3km/hr in east direction then the rain appears to him normally and when he increases his speed to 6km/hr in the same direction then the rain appears to him with an angle of 30 degree with the normal.Then find out the velocity of rain

the rain's horizontal velocity must be equal to the man's if a he sees the rain going straight down relative to the ground.

v - velocity of rain along x axis (velocity of rain when it falls vertically or velocity of rain relative to ground)
vm  -  velocity of man

6 = Vm = V sin (theta)
V = 6 * sin(30) =  3 m/s
