Approved Tutor Answer8 Years agoThe two main differnces between jee mains and adv are :1-In advance some chapters not come which are asked in mains.2-Advance question are more tricky and logical than mains.Mains papers are usually time taking;no cracking advance isnt too tough organized study can place you in toppers

Approved Tutor Answer8 Years agoThe syllabus is almost same for both exams. However, pattern and level of questions differ. The pattern of JEE Mains is fixed, ie 90 questions, 360 marks, +4(for each correct answer), -1(wrong answer). Advanced pattern is unpredictable. Even the the maximum marks in advanced is unpredictable. Cracking Mains is very easy. Advanced are just a bit tougher. However, if you plan and study, everything is easy. Good Luck😉
