The center of mass of a country is the distribution of the people in the geographic region occupied by it. This depends not only on the mass or the number of people but also on the geographic structure of the country. The geographic center highlights the geographical area covered by the country whereas the population center highlights the distribution of the people in that geographic area.
It is important to note that the geographic center differs from the population center because the population center would depend on the distribution of people however the geographic center would depend on the shape of the country.
