Let us assume that the speed of the car be represented by v whereas the time for which the car moves when the driver watch the accident is represented by t.
Given:
Speed of car, v = 112 km/h.
Time over which the car moved, t = 1s.
First we convert the time in hours as:

Also the distance travelled by the car (say s) during time t, moving with speed v, is given as:
s = vt
Substitute the given value of speed v and time t (in hours).
