How a bicycle is easy to balance while riding than when it is not moving?

While moving on a bicycle it is very easy to control ourselves because as we`re moving forward the frictional force acts on the body and we also apply the force in the opposite direction so we move in the forward direction as the frictional force is less than that of the force which we apply on it... If we are at rest then there there is only one force which is acting up on us and we tend to fall either towards right or towards left because we can`t control ourselves and the force which acts on a body is gravitational force due to which we are attracted towards the centre of the earth even though while we all riding a bicycle the gravitational force exists but we apply the force in the perpendicular direction to it so there will be net resultant force which will be acting towards forward not downwards or it acts as a diagonal of the parallelogram as this is based on parallelogram law...
