 magnitude of component of A along \hat{i} - \hat{j} = A.(\hat{i} - \hat{j} ) = ax -ay
direction of component = [(\hat{i} - \hat{j} )/\sqrt{2}]
Then component = (ax\hat{i} - ay\hat{j} )/\sqrt{2}
