Dear student,

At the given instant,

Angular speed of A=2\omega
Hence linear speed of A upwards=v_A=2\omega\times r=2\omega r

Angular speed of B=\omega
Linear speed of B upwards=v_B=\omega\times(2r)=2\omega r

Therefore relative velocity of B wrt A isv_B-v_A=0
