A soap film is formed due to the surface tension of the soap solution. Due to surface tension, there a net force acts between the soap molecules in the film which makes it to remain without being collapsed. When a small hole appears in the film, the balanced force ceases to act which disrupt the stability of the film. Therefore, the film will collapse.
