Consider a particle moving in xy plane whose position vector is given as:

The velocity vector of the particle is given as:

The acceleration vector of the particle is given as:
236-169_52.PNG
Therefore the acceleration vector of the particle is such that it has a constant positive x component of magnitude 2 units and a constant negative y component of magnitude 6 units.
