can we move a merry go round by applying a force along the radial direction. explain in detail for 5 marks?

You could not move on a merry go round while applying a force along its radial direction. When the force acts radially, the turning moment(torque) would be zero and angular rotation would not be possible.
The force F acts towards the center and zero axis from the axis.

M = [l x F] = [0 x F] = 0
