Dear Student....If a non zero vector lies completely in X direction then its component in Y or Z direction would be zero and vice versa.....for ex ..a vector of magnitude 5 lies in x direction then its component in y direction would be 5cos90°=0 .....With Regards ....Mahima....(Askiitians forum expert)
