(d). When radius is by ?R,

4pR2?RpL = 4pT[R2 – (R - ?R]

? pR2?RL = T[R2 – R2 + 2R?R - ?R2]

? pR2?RL =T2R?R [ ?R is very small ]

? R = 2T/pL
