As there is absence of external force so conservation of linear momentum will be applicable.
let we assume leftward velocity in positive direction and the velocity of obejects afer stick together is V. Then
(2m)(3v) +(m)(-2v) = (2m+m)V
So V = 4v/3
So total momentum is (3m)(4v/3) = 4mv.
And total kinetic energy = 0.5(3m)(4v/3)2 = (8/3)mv2.
