A vertically mounted rotor has a block of mass m attached by a string from the ceiling of the rotor. the rotor is rotating at w=root(2g/fR) where f is the coeff of friction between the block and wall of the rotor and R is the radius of the rotor. Calculate the tension in the string.

The balanced eqn. would be:
T = m*w^2*R => m*2g*R/fR = > 2mg/f N
would be the final tension in the string.
